Concept

BULAKH is a family business named after its founders. The family-oriented approach is reflected in every action of the brand: care for customers at every stage, attention to reputation, and responsiveness to feedback.

The brand’s mission is to provide plus-size women with the opportunity to build a stylish and comfortable wardrobe for any occasion: everyday wear, work, or special events. BULAKH creates versatile pieces that can be styled to suit different looks.

BULAKH is clothing that allows you to be yourself.

Brand History

BULAKH’s story began in 2006 in Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk Region. In response to the market demand for plus-size clothing, the store “Royal Size” was opened. At the time, it was a small family retail business selling clothing imported from Turkey. In 2011, the first store in Yekaterinburg opened on Belinsky Street, 132, which continues to serve hundreds of regular and new customers daily.

In 2017, with a generational shift in ownership, the store underwent significant changes. New internal policies and investments led to active company growth. The expanding plus-size industry strengthened the owners’ desire to establish a full-cycle in-house production. In 2018, the small family business transitioned from retail to production and retail. The distinctive surname of the founders became the name of the new brand—BULAKH wear collection.

The expertise gained from their retail network informed their understanding of the plus-size segment, while their in-house factory team brought garments to life at the highest standard. These products revitalized their customers’ wardrobes.

In 2021, Alena and Sergey opened a second offline store in central Yekaterinburg, launched active social media campaigns, set up their own photo studio, and established an online store. Their team has grown tenfold and is now considered the company’s greatest asset.

BULAKH has produced over 1 million garments in sizes 54 to 72, each reflecting style, comfort, functionality, and premium factory quality.
