Inspired by Dalí

The Around brand found its inspiration in the surreal animated film Destino, which was released more than ten years ago. This film is notable for its storyboards, created back in 1945 by the legendary artist Salvador Dalí.

“This is a mysterious, otherworldly story where everything unfolds as if in a dream. For our team, this resonates with the theme of New Year’s—a mystical moment standing at the threshold of change,” the AROUND team shared.

The imagery from Destino is reflected in the capsule collection through semi-transparent textures of organza and mesh, translated into a blouse, an asymmetrical long sleeve, and scarves. One of the key pieces of the New Year’s collection is a set consisting of a cape-style blazer with meticulously tailored shoulders and a matching skirt.
