"Lace Tales" by Natasha Libelle

On March 1, the Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts hosted the presentation of a new collection from the jewellery brand Natasha Libelle. In the elegant pieces, the lead artist of the collection and renowned fashion designer Nikita Baranov reflected key elements of Ural culture: the patterns of Kasli casting, motifs from the tales of Pavel Bazhov, and the architectural lines of facades from the eclecticism era. The combination of the ancient traditions of the Ural jewellery school with modern jewellery trends fit seamlessly into the brand's style and impressed the evening's guests.
The "Lace Tales" were presented by Natasha Libelle brand founder Natalia Shumakova, designer Nikita Baranov, and art historian and associate professor of the Department of Art History at UrFU, Lyudmila Budrina.
The highlight of the event was a fashion show around the Kasli pavilion, culminating in the ceremonial donation of the "Mountain Princess" jewellery set to the Museum of Fine Arts. The set was personally accepted by the museum’s director, Nikita Nikolaevich Korytin. In this way, one of Yekaterinburg's most renowned brands contributed to the development of the Ural jewellery tradition and became part of the region's cultural heritage.
