Brand DNA

Natural silk, custom prints, cultural heritage in a modern context.

Concept

The "Russians in Fashion" brand is part of the Nina Ruchkina brand and represents traditional Russian culture in a modern urban style. High-quality silk scarves are designed to emphasize the style and elegance of the wearer or giver. The brand reimagines the concept of scarves and their wear, adapting national traditions to modern life. Designs are inspired by treasures and mysteries, historical relics, and ancient symbols, filled with meaning and created with love for Russian culture, history, and people.

Brand History

It all started over 10 years ago in Yekaterinburg with the Nina Ruchkina studio. It specialized in creating exclusive wedding dresses, leather and fur clothing, and swimsuits. At a fashion week in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2013, the brand's founder Nina Ruchkina was inspired by a collection of dresses with national ornaments by local artist Ai Bapani. This led to the creation of the "Magic of the Ural Legends" capsule with malachite prints, embroidery, and a special cut.

Later, Nina realized that her work in a successful boutique fashion house did not allow her to fully express her creative potential as a designer-artist. Thus, in 2014, the "Russians in Fashion" brand was born, with scarves as its flagship product.

In 2015, Nina successfully implemented a joint project with "Uralvagonzavod," designing scarves for them. Since then, all Nina Ruchkina's scarves have been released under the "Russians in Fashion" brand. Thanks to unique designs inspired by Russian symbolism and national elements, it has become a symbol uniting traditional values with contemporary style.
