Concept

In one of the Eastern languages, MAN means "I" and SEN means "you." This symbolises the unity and community of people dedicated to sports. The company has specially developed anatomical patterns that ensure perfect fit. Certified fabric with antibacterial treatment and UV protection is resistant to frequent washing and hypoallergenic. Mansen ensures that engaging in sports becomes an integral part of life, with sportswear inspiring new achievements.

Brand History

Mansen was founded in 2018.

 

Dzhanbulat was a professional Thai boxer and initially wanted to create men's clothing for fitness and martial arts, as well as sports equipment for fighters. However, after conducting market research, the brand's creators realised that men rarely update their wardrobe. For instance, they might wear a favourite T-shirt for years, whereas women always want new sportswear. Thus, Mansen began by launching a women's sportswear line and continues to delight customers to this day.

 

At the very beginning, Dzhanbulat and Anastasia distinguished their brand with bright prints, differentiating themselves from competitors. They started with a basic sports wardrobe (leggings, tops, shorts, T-shirts) and today, Mansen offers more than 400 items of sports and casual clothing. Products can be ordered on their website, through more than 300 distributors across Russia and the CIS, and on popular marketplaces.

Ideal place for creativity?
Creating is best done at home: in a secluded atmosphere without distractions. However, implementing and realising ideas is best in a team meeting at the office. That is where the most productive atmosphere and synergy prevail. Moreover, during discussions with the team, new ideas and interesting solutions often emerge
Musical track that often plays when creating?
I prefer to work in silence; it helps me concentrate on my thoughts more effectively
Item you would wear continuously?
In cold weather, the Plush suit. It is made of soft fleece and is perfect for relaxation, travel, home, or walks. The suit does not crease and retains warmth, so if you need to leave the house quickly and don't know what to wear, you choose Plush. In summer, I wear Breeze shorts. They fit like a second skin, have a push-up effect, fit perfectly, and accentuate the body’s assets while pairing well with any tops and rash guards
Item you would pass on to your grandchildren with the words: "Let this remind you of me"?
A suit from our very first collection, Crossfit Military. It remains one of the most popular and best-selling collections to this day. The Crossfit Military suit is Mansen's hallmark and a reminder of the brand's early days
Favourite/least favourite part of the fashion process?
My favourite part is turning ideas into the final product. That’s why I love the process of creating new collections. This includes composing assortment matrices, selecting materials, making samples, fittings, and adjustments. Among the least favourite processes are planning the volume of production, purchasing materials, and budget allocation, which are essential business aspects but more routine
Which historical or literary character would you make the face of your brand?
Wonder Woman. She is invulnerable, resilient, well-trained, strong, yet incredibly feminine. Wonder Woman lives within each of us, and our task is to highlight attractiveness and spur new achievements
Which scent most closely resonates with your brand?
The scent of a summer morning that you breathe in before a run. Fresh and enveloping, intertwined with the feeling of readiness for new sporting goals
In which ideal location in the Urals would you conduct a collection photoshoot?
Ural Mars – a truly otherworldly place with incredible landscapes. It is perhaps the only popular location where we haven't yet done a shoot
What advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your journey?
It’s very easy to give up when results are not immediately visible, so never lose faith in your dream and be patient. Don’t be superficial and don’t chase quick success. The journey ahead is tough, but it’s worth it
What one word describes your brand?
Inspiration. Every woman knows that a new stylish outfit is a great motivation to engage in sports. That’s why we chose the slogan: "Mansen – Inspiring Sport."
What will change fashion soon?
Artificial intelligence. Many are already using ChatGPT, Midjourney, and other neural networks to create images, descriptions, and concepts. These technologies save time in creating new collections, simplify trend analysis, and even predict demand. I am confident that even more extensive capabilities are ahead, which will ease the lives of both consumers and producers
